Thank you, we have received your email.

Do you want to make a difference in people’s lives?

Have a few hours to spare? The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) needs you. Look here for ways to get involved. For more information, email us at volunteer@hla-fl.org or check our Volunteer Help Page.

You can put your time and talents to work in many ways. Find your niche and realize you are not alone with your hearing loss while you help out the leading organization for people with hearing loss.

There are 48 million Americans who have significant hearing loss. It is the third most prevalent health issue in older adults behind arthritis and heart disease. Hearing loss is invisible and many with hearing loss do not seek help in a timely manner.

Are you concerned about those who cannot hear?

We are a dynamic group of board members committed to MAKING HEARING LOSS APPARENT throughout Florida.

We meet quarterly for approximately six hours and support educational venues and social gatherings statewide. This is your opportunity to join our team and donate your time, energy, experience and expertise to help make a difference. Together we will raise awareness in communities, educate and support others on their hearing loss journey, and MAKE HEARING LOSS CLEAR!

Thank You to Our Volunteers Throughout the State of Florida!

Thanks to all who have worked on behalf of HLAA and people with hearing loss. Since 1979, HLAA National has enjoyed the volunteer service of thousands giving their time and talents. The HLAA Chapters and State Organizations are wholly volunteer led and run.

The HLAA Board of Trustees are 100 percent volunteer driven. Because of your millions of volunteer hours, we can fulfill HLAA’s mission of providing information, education, support and advocacy.
