State Chapter Coordinator News Corner: Miami Chapter Takes On Virtual meetings using ZOOM

President Roxana Rotundo is leading the charge with the Miami Chapter. On March 28, 2020 the chapter used  ZOOM app to host its first virtual meeting.  The speaker Shari Eberts  a Hearing Health Advocate, Writer and Founder of livingwithhearingloss.com   presented  “Your Covid-19 Hearing Loss Guide”. Loaded with power packed informative information and much to consider. He was joined by Audiologist Kelly Tremblay, Ph. D.  and Holly Cohen, Hearing Health Advocate to moderate the discussion as questions related to hearing loss were asked..

President Rotundo  even shared a great video for attendees regarding how to activate captions on  Zoom as well.  I was supper proud to be a part of this first virtual session. Great presentation, great speaker and great attendance. Kudos to you President Rotundo job well done.
Speaker Shari Eberts shared his presentation with the group. If you want to know how to set up your virtual meeting or want a copy of the presentation, I’m sure President Rotundo would be happy to share her wealth of knowledge.
Send me your great news and let Florida know what new in your corner!!
