HLAA2019 Convention Highlights

  • Workshop Schedule
This year we are lucky to have some amazing workshops where we dive into the advocacy, hearing assistive technology, genetics, and lifestyle of hearing loss. There will also be a special track dedicated to our State/Chapter leaders.
  • Research Symposium
World-renowned geneticists will present the latest research on hearing loss that occurs later in life, and what can be done for families who have inherited the gene.
  • Cheers to 40 Years! HLAA Anniversary Celebration and Awards Gala
2019 celebrates the Hearing Loss Association of America’s 40th Anniversary! We will be celebrating in style on Saturday, June 22 at 7 p.m. Come wearing your best party attire, this is an event you don’t want to miss! You can purchase a ticket for the HLAA Anniversary Celebration and Awards Gala for $75 when you register for the convention.
  • Call for Musical Performers!
Do you sing or play a musical instrument?  The Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss (AAMHL) is hosting a musical open-mic event during the convention on June 19, 2019 at 9:00 pm after the chapter awards ceremony.  If you are interested in sharing your talent with fellow hard of hearing and late-deafened musicians and an appreciative audience, please join us and submit an entry for our call for performers. You can find the call for entry here http://bit.ly/hlaa2019openmic

We look forward to seeing you in Rochester in June!
